Enjoy a relaxing journey to the charming town of St. Ann’s Bay. Your journey continues to Seville Heritage Park, one of Jamaica’s most culturally significant heritage sites. Here, you will make an exterior visit to this historic location, which is considered the birthplace of modern Jamaica. This site has been inhabited since prehistoric times and showcases the remains of the Amerindian Taino village of Maima, the 16th century Spanish settlement of Sevilla la Nueva, and the British sugar plantation known as New Seville. These layers of history illustrate the merging of Taino, European, and African cultures, reflecting Jamaica’s rich diversity.

Next, enjoy a refreshing drink at the seaside Almond Tree Restaurant before heading to the eastern edge of town for an exterior visit to Harmony Hall. This charming Georgian-style building, constructed in 1851 by early British settlers, offers a glimpse into Jamaica’s colonial past. Finally, you will stop at Shaw Park Hill, where you can take in breathtaking views of Ocho Rios before returning to your ship.
