Negril Beach Experience & Rick’s Cafe Divers

Travelling along the north coast, an approximately 1h30min drive will take you through several villages and small towns like Hopewell and Sandy Bay. You will travel past the famous Round Hill Hotel and Tryall Golf Club, where international stars visit from time to time.

Your experience continues along the coast through the small town of Lucea. Standing in the town centre near to the Old Courthouse is the Lucea clock tower, which was built in 1817. Another notable attraction in the town is the Parish Church of Hanover, one of the oldest churches in Jamaica. Although no record exists of when it was first built, the first recorded baptism dates to 1725, the first burial was in 1727 and the first marriage in 1749. It is said that there is a tunnel that leads from the church to the nearby Fort Charlotte, which was a safe haven in times of war.

You will also drive through Green Island, named after the lush vegetation that surrounds this area. After leaving Green Island, the scenic drive continues to Negril, where Jamaica’s longest strip of white sand beach awaits you. Next you will relax at the Margaritaville Beach for a few hours and enjoy a complimentary Jamaican lunch.

The finale of this experience is a stop at the famous Rick’s Cafe, where you will experience the thrill of watching the local cliff divers before your return journey to the port.
