60s Rock and Roll Tribute Act

The Overtures have spent the past twenty-five years building their reputation as the finest sixties tribute band in the country. You’ll hear every aspect of 60s music from the early beat-pop of The Beatles and The Kinks, the ‘surf' sound of The Beach Boys, the rhythm and blues of The Stones, the folk-rock of the Byrds and Mamas and Papas through to the power of The Who. There is something to please whether you’re a “Hippy”, “Mod” or “Rocker”! Having performed at Sir Elton John and David Furnish's Civil Partnership in 2005, The Overtures were then requested to support Elton at London's O2 as well as at numerous private parties at his Windsor home. “They're the best band of their kind in the world!” Sir Elton was later quoted in GQ magazine. They have also performed for many other legendary names in the entertainment world, including Sir Paul McCartney (London O2 aftershow party), Elvis Costello and Diana Krall's wedding, Lulu's 60th birthday party, Sir David Frost, Justin Hayward, Sir Richard Branson and Sir Tim Rice! The band have just returned to the UK from a two-month sell out tour of their Bootleg Sixties Theatre Show in Europe. And the recent release of their first ever full album of original songs, ‘Onceinaworld’, continues to receive rave reviews worldwide. "One listen through and you realise the twelve songs are each and every one a pop gem. “Booking and follow up process”

This refers to the booking process, and the efficiency of the booking agent, when I telephoned with a further request. It is unusual to be able to reach a REAL person without much fuss and bother and having to battle with a ROBOT. Not only was it relatively quick and easy to get through, the agent was very friendly and efficient. Cannot comment on the actual cruise, as I have not yet travelled with Ambassador
