Perfect customer service

Service was excellent. I rang customer services today to change our cruise booking. Natasha was very helpful, friendly and efficient.

Took a deposit without completing the booking.

I went through the booking process online a week ago. I got an error message at the end saying someone would contact me, but they collected nearly £1,000 for deposit. When I called them after no-one did contact me they had no record of my booking. I was told the only way I could guarantee getting the cabin I wanted was to redo the process and pay another £1,000. Under pressure I did this and successfully booked but a week later I am still out of pocket for the original deposit. Whilst I am sure I will get the money back, to take it in the first place was unacceptable. My low score is based on this booking issue. We enjoyed an excellent cruise this year which is why we are rebooking.

Cruised in July 27 with Ambassador. Was delighted with the cruise. Departing Dundee so easy to get to. Embarkation was quick and efficient as was disembarking. Standard restaurant was excellent service and quality. The additional restaurants were also great value. Staff at every point were friendly helpful and fun. Plenty of entertainment and choice. Booking process was easy and website easy to use.

Charlie who did our booking was very efficient and helpful and made the booking easy. Guest services too were helpful when we asked to link our booking to our friends for dining so we could have a table for four. They also made our booking for car parking easy.
