Fun on the ocean waves

Over many years of using Tilbury port for cruise vacations on the Marco Polo etc various companies i find the Ambassador company very unique! Having experience most cruise ships all over the planet from the giant liners and the much smaller ones I know have decided to concentrate only on ambassador line due to my delicate age! Next birthday i will be 80 fit as a fiddle. The size is perfect the crew are like family wether it's dining or bar service cabin staff dining casino or even in the excellent shops nothing is to much bother. As a solo traveller I have experienced a few hiccups no problem when we only booked a suite but as a solo traveller we seemed to get forgotten. I will never share now but am happy to pay for my own cabin, unfortunately my last cruise the third this year turned out unhappy as the weather was wonderful but the cabin had no a/c I since have been quite unwell, still struggling with chest problems, but hey hoe have booked this week for Christmas market talked my friend to book and hopefully no problems, they did actually move my cabin which was only slightly better. Hopefully I will get a decent cabin without those horrid bunk beds. So all in all having been on nearly every cruise company going your ship is perfect for me cannot fault it apart from a/c not working. P.S. just to mention I have been on board three ship recks but having done my three very happy to carry on supporting Ambassador, even the booking staff are great 😃 looking forward to Hamburg. Genuinely the best cruise company

Genuinely the best cruise company sailing out of the UK. Great customer focused service and one of the best welcomes at sea.

As always with Ambassador nothing to complain about, I hope this level of service continues.

Definitely recommend

Having sailed on Ambience a few times from Tilbury I would definitely recommend them for cruises. Ships are lovely, food is very tasty and lots of choice, entertainment very good. Ambassador have something for everyone

Booking review

Booked on line so no real comment however it was our wedding anniversary so could not mention that at the time of booking

Good mostly.

Everything we needed was available, except flexible dining times. Also, the Saffron restaurant served a nice curry but awful naan bread. And where in India is trifle a staple? The cabin was great, the entertainment some of the best I’ve seen at sea. But little things let you down.

Great service really nice food. Entertainment hit and miss. Canapés served to suites is a waste of your money, they are awful and went straight in the bin Would definitely book again dependant on the ports of call

Overall the service on the cruise was very good, however the bar service was very slow at busy times and some of the staff seemed a bit stresses and not very happy. we would like to music in the bar areas to start earlier around 2pm The wine selection on the cruise was poor as there was no chardonnay win available all the time.

Overall the cruise was good, however a couple of mornings in the Buckingham, I did hear some negative remarks from the staff. They appeared stressed. This made me feel uncomfortable. So different in the evenings where the staff was lovely

The lady on reservations was very professional and clearly knew her product and helped us make the booking. So far, impressed with the booking service. I hope the cruise is as good.
