Ambassador Reviews

I would strongly recommend Ambassador.

The booking procedure was excellent. Knowledgeable sales representatives. I sailed on the Jane McDonald and friends Cruise. This holiday exceeded my expectations. All the staff on the Ambience were polite, professional and friendly. I have now travelled with Ambassador three times. I’ve also experienced the Festive events three/four times. I live locally to Tilbury and the location is perfect. The embarkation process is speedy. I have frequently been on the ship, with drink in hand, in 20 minutes. I have two cruises booked with Ambassador in 2027.

Quick, friendly and informative

Very helpful and informative. Helped with all queries and answered all questions. Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble

First time booking with ambassador

Very straight forward, easy

Excellent answered all questions helpfully

Norway cruise

Service mixed. Dinner service excellent, breakfast service poor. Cabin steward did not introduce themself. Good service in the bars. Crew friendly when you’re walking around the ship. Cabin was comfortable even when the sea was lumpy.

Happy cruiser

I spoke to Lauren and she was very helpful. Sorted out my issue with no fuss. Very professional.. didn’t have to hold on phone for too long before answer.

on-line booking procedure straight forward and informative. However, I have still to receive confirmation of the booking by email as stated on the booking web site. I noted the booking reference and went onto the My Ambassador Sailing web site where our booking is confirmed but it would have been nice to receive a reply at the time of booking

Excellent service

Love Ambassador

great

Very pleased with the service I recieved

Very quick and efficient. Took no time at all.

Online booking

The booking online was easy and gave plenty of options. Would like parking and travel options to be given at time of booking.

Good no frills cruise line

Ship good but dated on parts. Cabin old fashioned could have done with more plug sockets. None near bed. Food & service in restaurant was absolutely great. 10/10 Service in bars very bad . Waiting times up to 30 minutes. There were some excellent staff (Marco) but most were not as good as those on other cruises. Cabin is cleaned every day but there are no frills. Towel changes were missed and the tea/coffee supplies were very meagre. A few biscuits would have been good. Entertainment good. The theatre is good. All seats give a good view of the stage. Embarkation was quick and efficient. Overall, a good NO FRILLS ship.

Very easy to book over the phone. Great help with cabin choices and all questions answered.

Janes friend

The service on board was excellent although the check-in on board after the Drag, Deck & Dinner evening was shambolic to say the least.

Easy booking process

Very helpful man who helped with booking -George-. Very patient as I have difficulty hearing.

Information on mobility scooter on ship appreciated,I have booked one .

Polite and well informed conversation
