Jenny Powell

Guest Act and Speaker

Jenny Powell is one of the UK’s most experienced and recognisable presenters, having appeared in some of the most loved TV shows in the UK. She first came to prominence presenting the cult music show No Limits for BBC 2 and then quickly became a firm favourite on children’s TV, hosting such shows as UP2U, Ghost Train and Gimme 5. She went on to host a huge range of TV shows such as Top of the Pops, To Buy or Not To Buy, Soap Fever, Live Talk, Wordplay, Jenny Powell's Luxury Uncovered, Food and Wine Adventures, and the hilarious Saturday night show ITV1 BIGHEADS with Jason Manford and Kris Akabussi. She has also appeared in numerous other shows including Celebrity MasterChef, Come Dine With Me, Lemon La Vida Loca, Loose Women, Pointless and a regular on Through The Keyhole as well as her iconic role on Wheel of Fortune. Jenny is a fantastic live event host, compering several events a week and her professionalism, passion and sense of fun is evidenced by the number of repeat bookings she receives. From 7pm every Friday and Saturday, Jenny presents The Mix Tape on Greatest Hits Radio.

Kate Thornton

Kate is a talented and versatile broadcaster and journalist who first rose to public prominence as the first female and youngest ever Editor of Smash Hits at the age of 21. As a writer she's also worked as a Contributing Editor at The Sunday Times and Marie Claire Magazine, but is probably best known for her work as a television and radio presenter on some of the most high-profile programmes on British television including Top of the Pops, Holiday, Pop Idol Extra, The Royal Variety Performance, The One Show, Comic Relief, This Morning, Loose Women and The Brits, as well as presenting the first three series of ITV’s The X Factor. In 2022 joined the line up on Greatest Hits Radio, now the UK’s most successful commercial radio station, where she presents her show on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. In 2019, Kate launched White Wine Question Time, her critically acclaimed podcast, which sees her sit down with a celebrity guest to ask them three thought provoking questions over three glasses of wine. It has grown into one of the country’s most regarded and recognised podcasts, with over 300 weekly shows in the catalogue, live show spin-offs and a second weekly episode.

Harriet Scott

Guest Act - Radio Presenter

Harriet is one of the most experienced and recognised names in British radio, with an award-winning career spanning three decades. She is one of the few presenters equally at home at both BBC and commercial radio. Beginning her career with a summer role in local BBC radio, Harriet progressed through a number of local stations, notably heading up the first female-led breakfast show in commercial radio at 2-Ten FM. She moved to London to continue building her broadcasting reputation, hosting the Drive Time show on the original Virgin Radio before spending a decade at Heart FM. During her time at Heart, she hosted the hugely successful Heart Breakfast Show, establishing herself as a distinctive voice in UK radio. Following a period at BBC Radio London, Harriet joined Magic Radio, where she has hosted a range of programmes and currently presents the Magic Breakfast Show alongside Gok Wan. Her lifelong passion for music shines through in her feel-good DJ night, Dance Decade Music, which celebrates the finest tracks spanning the decades. She regularly performs at festivals, private members' clubs and events across the UK. Beyond radio, Harriet has worked extensively in television across entertainment, factual and current affairs programming.

Heidi Range

Guest Act - Singer & Songwriter

Heidi Range embarked on her music career in the late 1990s, forming Atomic Kitten alongside fellow artists Liz Maclarnon and Kerry Katona. Together, they helped establish the band's distinctive identity through demo recordings and performances across the UK. Seeking a different and more unconventional musical style, Heidi left Atomic Kitten before their chart breakthrough to join the already established pop-R&B act, Sugababes, following Siobhán Donaghy's departure. With this new line-up, she achieved a UK number 1 single on their first release. The Sugababes went on to secure two multi-platinum albums and numerous UK and European top ten singles before disbanding in 2011. Since then, Heidi has established herself as a versatile entertainer. Her television appearances have included ITV1's Dancing on Ice and Celebrity Chef, whilst she has also taken a lead role as Beth in the West End musical The War of the Worlds since 2016. She currently performs in both singing and acting roles in a popular British theatre production of the television series Happy Days.
