Norway cruise

Service mixed. Dinner service excellent, breakfast service poor. Cabin steward did not introduce themself. Good service in the bars. Crew friendly when you’re walking around the ship. Cabin was comfortable even when the sea was lumpy.

I spoke to Lauren and she was very helpful. Sorted out my issue with no fuss. Very professional.. didn’t have to hold on phone for too long before answer.

on-line booking procedure straight forward and informative. However, I have still to receive confirmation of the booking by email as stated on the booking web site. I noted the booking reference and went onto the My Ambassador Sailing web site where our booking is confirmed but it would have been nice to receive a reply at the time of booking

The booking online was easy and gave plenty of options. Would like parking and travel options to be given at time of booking.

Good no frills cruise line

Ship good but dated on parts. Cabin old fashioned could have done with more plug sockets. None near bed. Food & service in restaurant was absolutely great. 10/10 Service in bars very bad . Waiting times up to 30 minutes. There were some excellent staff (Marco) but most were not as good as those on other cruises. Cabin is cleaned every day but there are no frills. Towel changes were missed and the tea/coffee supplies were very meagre. A few biscuits would have been good. Entertainment good. The theatre is good. All seats give a good view of the stage. Embarkation was quick and efficient. Overall, a good NO FRILLS ship.

The service on board was excellent although the check-in on board after the Drag, Deck & Dinner evening was shambolic to say the least.

Unable to book online

Unable to book online tried for two days so rang in the end. Very helpful operator who did my booking for me. I have not received my email with confirmation yet although deposit has been taken from bank card.
