Best cruise company.

The service on the ship was great, the staff were so lovely especially **** and Clive in the cavern bar and Aadesh in the Buffett on deck 11 and also a mention for the wonderful Hendrick for the amazing poached eggs each breakfast!!

It was the Rock Choir Cruise. The website crashed, the plug was pulled on the phone line 4 times, once after I’d been holding on for 29 mins. However when I eventually got through on the phone line 1 and half hours after booking went live, Marie couldn’t have been nicer and I got the class of cabin I wanted.

Booking experience

This was a fairly straight forward booking on the Internet. However l was unable to complete my booking as l was unable to enter some information and did have to then make s phone call. This was a bit frustrating. However my booking was dealt with by an agent who was very helpful.

A glitch that was sorted quickly

I made the booking online. This was an unusual booking as it was a charter for Rock choir and there was always going to be a lot of people fighting for places. The site crashed I gather as there were going to be screening questions re eligibility to answer. This proved too complicated for the site to handle and it crashed. An alternative log in was provided quickly (without the screening) so I managed to secure the single room I wanted.

We continue to receive 5+ star service from Ambassador and look forward to our forthcoming trip on Ambience. We especially look forward to catching up with some of the staff onboard who have become like cruise family in recent times.

When booking, staff were very informative and polite. The only reason for not putting 5 stars is that I have not yet received the itinerary of the cruise via email as requested yet.

I always book my cruises on line very easy & quick, I did need to phone Ambassador to change something that I could not do on line took nearly 1 hour to get through!!, that’s why I book on line.

The bookings opened at 12 midday. Unfortunately the online booking facility crashed maybe due to the high demand. I was on hold for two and a half hours and the phone was disconnected several times. I eventually got through but my first choice of cabin was sold out. This cruise was chartered and the demand was high. The agent I spoke to was helpful but the name on my invoice was incorrect and I had to contact guest services to get this amended. The name on this review has still not been amended

Ambassador are just the best cruise line.

I liked the fact that I was out on a waiting must-read that hasn't happened to me before. Then I was offered a free upgrade - even better . Michelle was a lovely girl.and handled the booking with ease. Feel confident I am going to have a great time.
