Round of applause for Ambassador staff. Service with a smile !

I was extremely impressed with the information offered, the lady I spoke to when placing initial booking was very helpful , friendly and very reassuring, giving useful suggestions and advice. I have been lucky enough to have been on many cruises before, but Ambassadors “service with a smile”, will stick in my mind….first impressions , etc etc., really looking forward to the upcoming cruise.

Easy to book

Disappointed with customer service and dining requests for disabled oasseng

I booked online which was relatively easy. From there things went rapidly downhill, as I started to fill in the dining details, selecting the First sitting, and then the smallest table choice was a table for four we always request a table for two as my husband has Dementia, but the system would not let me select a table for two. I contacted customer service via email to make this request and the lady who helped me was most unhelpful. She said she had made the request but that it could not be guaranteed when I went back to the lady the next day for further clarification she sent me a link to cancel the cruise to which I would lose our deposit. We have travelled with many cruise lines, including Cunard and have never had any difficulty in getting a dining reservation for two people based on this experience. It is highly unlikely that we will book any more cruises with ambassador. Very disappointed and it is leaving a black mark on our October cruise to France. We find it very outdated that passengers with a hidden disability cannot select a dining table for two it’s outrageous.

Could do better

Poor. Beware, they are the only company of any description that I have EVER dealt with that can’t contact would be clients/customers via a hotmail email address. They failed to automatically factor an alternative method in, which would have been the obvious and sensible thing to do. I guess that other non hotmail email users have no issues and therefore a better booking experience.
