Friendly, efficient Cruise Company

I have cruised with Ambassador Cruise line before and each time I have an enquiry about a cruise, the telephone staff are always very helpful and friendly.. The booking process is always handled smoothly and professionally and the follow up online confirmation is very quick.

I don’t have any experience so far, just the site and the booking system. Booking system is clear and simple with all the needed information.

Website easy to navigate & booking made easy. Unfortunately most of the cabins we wanted had been booked already, but we were able to book one elsewhere.

Easy to book no problems booking the cruise at all. Did it all via the internet and was so simple. I received an email straight away confirming the booking and was happy with the cabin options we were offered.

Delightful and helpful agent when ordering. Made recommendations which suited our group of 6 perfectly. The invoice however was not brocken down into subjects everything was headed "Cabin"

Easy to book with lots of information to advise you on facilities on board the ship. Very easy to navigate the site.

Disappointing end to a nice cruise

To start very good cruise albeit that there were some passengers with mobility scooters who were very rude to both staff and fellow passengers. The captain made some decisions towards the end of cruise which was bad leaving many disappointed passengers, and would imagine leading to many complaints.On the positive side the staff were fantastic and nothing was to much trouble.

Very organised and welcoming staff. Nothing is too much trouble.

Unacceptable delays on phone and emails

Phone lines busy, warning may wait two hours, which is unacceptable; stated time to answer emails is ten days whereas most companies aim to respond in 24 or 48 hours. Back and forth with increasingly desperate emails over ten days before finding an agent who understood my issue but then an earlier staffer confused situation. Finally got through on phone (11 minute wait, awful music) and problem resolved successfully. Company needs more staff and continuity. I began to feel I should not have booked in the first place. Quick support on an expensive service is essential to maintain customer confidence.

Ease of Booking

Good fast and intuitive website. Slightly difficult to understand whether gratuities were for staff or bar-staff due to packaging of 'bundle'. Spent so long on other cruise websites being shunted around and 'processed' this was a real tonic to move through so quickly and clearly.
