Multiple cabin requirement

Everything was clear and easy to follow. The only negative was that we couldn't book our 4 required cabins for our group in one visit. We all had to book separately.

Ambassador last minute booking experience

Booked my cruise online and easy to use with transparent pricing. Last minute booking within 2 weeks of travel date so no choice of picking cabin or selecting dining time option. Got immediate confirmation of booking and invoice. Already had the app from a sailing earlier this year so could then add passenger information easily.

I booked this cruise on line and I found it so easy to book. Everything was free from annoying problems the location of the cabin was exactly in the right location all hassle free. I stayed on this deck and found it exactly what we wanted if we receive the same service as the last cruise we will be extremely happy.

Above and Beyond service

A HUGE Thank you to Kelly from the reservations team who was a great help to doing my reservation telephonically! I called originally as I intended to sail solo (I recently lost my husband to Cancer), and there were no cabins available. I would have paid for a cabin for 2. I was able to get my sister to join as a second person.

Easy booking

Very easy, straight forward to book. However if you do need to phone with any sort of problem, then it's a very long wait to actually talk to someone. which is made worse by the terrible music you have to listen to. It's like Butlins in the 60's Which personally I don't think does your cruise line any justice.

Staff excellent service

Staff were friendly, approachable& helpful. Nothing too much trouble, would have preferred to order my restaurant meals when everyone else did rather than the night before (I’m coeliac) but do understand it’s for my benefit, contamination wise .

I thought the cruise was very good value, the food very good and the staff all very pleasant.. The entertainment was reasonable but very loud most of the girld singers seemed to think they had to fight the background music all the time, the music in the bars was rather monotonous, same people night after night. Day time activities pretty much the same as on most cruises. Overall a very nice cruise,

Booking Amendment expertly dealt with.

I rang Ambassador Guest Services to amend an existing cruise booking for next year. I spoke to a lady named Jane who was very helpful and very quickly and efficiently made the changes that I had requested. She is a credit to the Company.

Help desk no help

We had a problem with the WiFi package. It wasn't clear how it worked and we were charged over £100 as my husband thought he just needed to sign in with his birthday date not mine. The help desk was not very helpful when we questioned our bill. The first person we spoke to told us to come back when the boys were there? When we spoke to the boys they explained the error we had made. Apparently, the chap who sold me the package was the IT manager. He did not explain it very well and they could see it was a genuine error but the stance they took was very defensive and kept saying it's your fault. They did knock two days charges off but we were still charged a lot. However, my main gripe was their attitude, especially the manager as he did not explain it properly. We never found the help desk to be very helpful, unless you wanted to buy anything. We also had a problem with the heating in the cabin. It was so hot. It took few days for someone to come. When he did he did something in the ceiling with tape and said he'd be back in a couple of days. Never saw him again. The vegetarian food was quite poor. We have sailed on Ambition twice and the food was good, so this was very disappointing. One evening my husband didn't like the one vegetarian option and asked if there was an alternative and was told no. We splashed out and went to the Saffron for a Chinese night. The restaurant was cold and we were told that someone was coming to sort it out. They never did. The main vegetarian meal was chow main, which was also the side dish that everyone got. It was a rip off.
