Atlantic Horizons and Caribbean Discovery (Manchester Airport)

Tilbury to the Tropics: A Voyage of Discovery Through Iberian Charm and Caribbean Wonder Awaits

Cruise Code: A3281029M

Departs
29 October 2028
Duration
21 nights
Sails from
London TilburyFlights via Manchester Airport
Ship
Renaissance

This 21 night Caribbean cruise sails from London Tilbury with Renaissance, with no flight needed until the journey home from Barbados. Taking in Vigo and La Palma's Iberian charm and volcanic peaks before crossing into Caribbean warmth, discover St Kitts' hilltop fortress, St Maarten's dual nation buzz and Antigua's postcard beaches, then Dominica's wild rainforest and Guadeloupe's Creole spirit, before Barbados' rum soaked hospitality brings the voyage to a sun drenched close, ready for your flight home.

CRUISE HIGHLIGHTS

Bridgetown
Stepping ashore in Barbados, guests are trading the sun lounger for a catamaran deck, sailing along the west coast before diving into turquoise water alongside gliding sea turtles. Bridgetown's rum shops are pouring stories as rich as their spirits, while the Garrison Historic Area is revealing centuries of seafaring heritage. It's an island built for curiosity, offering something new around every coastal bend, and inviting guests back for more.

Roseau
Nicknamed the Nature Island, Dominica is built for guests who'd rather hike than lounge. Trails are leading through dense rainforest toward the Boiling Lake and Trafalgar Falls, while river tubing offers a cooler, splashier pace. Offshore, sperm whales are frequently surfacing, drawing wildlife-watching boats out from Roseau. It's raw, wild, and largely untouched, rewarding those willing to trade sand for adventure.

Pointe-à-Pitre
Shaped like a butterfly and rich in contrast, Guadeloupe is inviting guests to hike volcanic La Soufrière on one wing and relax on Grande-Terre's white sand beaches on the other. Basse-Terre's national park is threading waterfalls and rainforest trails through dramatic scenery, while Pointe-à-Pitre's markets are bursting with colour and Creole spice. Two islands, one destination, endlessly rewarding for the curious guest.

FAQs

When will I get my tickets?

Ambassador is a ticketless cruise line, so we will not issue guests with a physical cruise ticket. Instead, once within 90 days of departure (but no later than 24 hours before sailing), all guests are required to submit their API (Advance Passenger Information) to us via our website, by visiting our My Ambassador Sailing facility or via the Ambassador Cruise Line App.
Once this information has been submitted, you will be able to log in to ‘My Ambassador Sailing’ to check in online and to download your boarding pass and final documentation once online check-in opens, 72 hours before sailing.

What is the dress code on board Renaissance?

During the day, we suggest that you wear casual clothing for your comfort. For the evenings on board, every day the Daily Programme suggests, as a guide, a mode of dress for that particular evening’s events.

There are generally two ‘formal’ nights, one ‘white party’ and one ‘tropical deck fest’.

On ‘formal’ nights, many gentlemen wear dinner jackets, although a lounge suit is quite acceptable. Ladies on these occasions have a chance to dress up and often opt for evening or cocktail dresses. Please note that jeans, T-Shirts, shorts and open neck shirts are not permitted in the main restaurant on Formal evenings.

On evenings proposed as ‘smart’, a suit or smart jacket and trousers, with or without a tie, for the men is suggested and the ladies have further opportunities to look elegant in cocktail dresses or trouser suits.

A ‘casual’ recommendation often covers evenings spent in port or when a special event such as a deck party is scheduled.  In these cases, the choice of dress is left entirely to you.

For the ‘white party’, guests are suggested to wear white and for the ‘tropical deck fest’, guests are suggested to wear bright, colourful clothing.

Please note that during Christmas and New Year sailings, there will be an extra formal night for Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, respectively.
