Not to happy booked early and didn't get the benefits offered to late booke

Service from customer services was ok. But because I booked early I miss out on the reduced drinks package as I was told if it was available..I then found out about the offer and tried to book it but was told I couldn't purchase in retro spec. This was for cruise A22712BL Spring time Shores.. Hebrides &Isle of Man I wouldn't have booked another one had I been aware that early bookings are penalize.

Slow with the Best Price Guarantee service and showing cruise on My Sailing

My recent booking involved a phone call clarifying the 'best price guarantee' in which you can only submit screenshots of better deals from other Agents on the same day as booking the cruise with Ambassador. I was told to email the screenshot to guest services, which I did. Still not heard anything back and have chased it up.

This was the very first and so far only cruise we have done! We are however booked on this same ship at the end of August and in March 2027!

Frustration but a happy ending.

I rang at 11.50 and was politely told to ring back at 12 noon when booking opened. I then rang again along with 6 members of my family. I was cut off 6 times. All my family were cut off. Calls ranging between 1 & 35 minutes. In total we probably made about 20 attempts to get through between 12 noon and 1pm. When I did get through around 5pm I was told all single cabins were sold out. Why couldn’t I book a single cabin on the website. Why was I not tiold where I was in the queue. Most decent booking systems tell you where you’re up to in the queue. However having voiced my concerns and frustration I got a lovely phone call on the following Tuesday and was able to book a single cabin.
