Caribbean Highlights and Atlantic Discovery (Manchester Airport)

Spice Trails, Rainforest Waterfalls, and Atlantic Horizons: A Voyage Home to London Tilbury

Cruise Code: A3290311M

Departs
11 March 2029
Duration
17 nights
Sails from
Bridgetown, BarbadosFlights via Manchester Airport
Ship
Renaissance

Over 17 nights, Renaissance carries you from Bridgetown, Barbados on this Caribbean cruise, calling at Grenada's fragrant spice groves, St Lucia's dramatic twin peaks, Dominica's rainforest waterfalls and Antigua's historic dockyard. As the ship turns for home, the Azores' Ponta Delgada offers a final taste of volcanic scenery before you cross the Atlantic back to London Tilbury, memories and sun soaked sights carried all the way home.

CRUISE HIGHLIGHTS

St George's
Grenada is engaging every sense at once. Guests are wading through waterfalls at Annandale, browsing nutmeg and cocoa at bustling spice markets, and diving toward Molinere Bay's underwater sculpture park, where submerged figures stand silent among the coral. The Spice Isle's warmth extends well beyond its climate, with St George's harbourside cafes serving up chocolate made steps from where it's grown.

Roseau
Nicknamed the Nature Island, Dominica is built for guests who'd rather hike than lounge. Trails are leading through dense rainforest toward the Boiling Lake and Trafalgar Falls, while river tubing offers a cooler, splashier pace. Offshore, sperm whales are frequently surfacing, drawing wildlife-watching boats out from Roseau. It's raw, wild, and largely untouched, rewarding those willing to trade sand for adventure.

Castries
Rising dramatically from the sea, the Pitons are setting the scene for a day of genuine adventure. Guests are ziplining through rainforest canopy, soaking in bubbling volcanic mud baths, and hiking trails that open onto impossibly green valleys. Soufrière's fishing village charm is offering a slower, sociable counterpoint. St Lucia rewards those chasing both adrenaline and awe, proving paradise and adventure aren't mutually exclusive.

When will I get my tickets?

Ambassador is a ticketless cruise line, so we will not issue guests with a physical cruise ticket. Instead, once within 90 days of departure (but no later than 24 hours before sailing), all guests are required to submit their API (Advance Passenger Information) to us via our website, by visiting our My Ambassador Sailing facility or via the Ambassador Cruise Line App.
Once this information has been submitted, you will be able to log in to ‘My Ambassador Sailing’ to check in online and to download your boarding pass and final documentation once online check-in opens, 72 hours before sailing.

What is the dress code on board Renaissance?

During the day, we suggest that you wear casual clothing for your comfort. For the evenings on board, every day the Daily Programme suggests, as a guide, a mode of dress for that particular evening’s events.

There are generally two ‘formal’ nights, one ‘white party’ and one ‘tropical deck fest’.

On ‘formal’ nights, many gentlemen wear dinner jackets, although a lounge suit is quite acceptable. Ladies on these occasions have a chance to dress up and often opt for evening or cocktail dresses. Please note that jeans, T-Shirts, shorts and open neck shirts are not permitted in the main restaurant on Formal evenings.

On evenings proposed as ‘smart’, a suit or smart jacket and trousers, with or without a tie, for the men is suggested and the ladies have further opportunities to look elegant in cocktail dresses or trouser suits.

A ‘casual’ recommendation often covers evenings spent in port or when a special event such as a deck party is scheduled.  In these cases, the choice of dress is left entirely to you.

For the ‘white party’, guests are suggested to wear white and for the ‘tropical deck fest’, guests are suggested to wear bright, colourful clothing.

Please note that during Christmas and New Year sailings, there will be an extra formal night for Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, respectively.

What type of bathroom facilities are available in Renaissance cabins?

Most cabins on board Renaissance are equipped with full bathrooms featuring a bath. A limited number of cabins have showers only, so you can check your cabin description when booking to confirm the facilities.

What nationalities will be on board?

We welcome a truly international mix of guests on board. You can expect people from a wide range of countries and cultures, creating a diverse and vibrant atmosphere throughout the cruise.

Is the cruise Multigenerational?

The cruise is designed to be enjoyable for everyone, including families travelling with children.
