Requiring just 3 hours (approx.) of your evening, complement your cruise with an experience scanning the skies for the elusive aurora borealis*.

Participating guests will board the coach for a short transfer to a location just outside Alta, embracing the fresh Arctic air as the evening draws in. The camp offers limited seating and shelters, as well as complimentary hot drinks to keep warm - it does get chilly at night, so wrap up appropriately! Local guides will be on hand to assist with camera settings to ensure the best digital memories, while providing both factual and mythical information about the Northern Lights.

A finalist in 2006 Funny Bones competition, Tony has enjoyed recognition as a comedian and comedy compere of renown. British-born singer, Simone, is a powerhouse vocalist and performer who will knock you out of your seats with her rich and warm tone, and sparkling presence. Simone has the power to bring a multitude of musical styles and genres to life. From the age of 13, she has sung in blues and gospel bands, and has since, for the last 20 years, graced the stages of audiences worldwide through the likes of national and international theatre, arena tours, and cruise ships. A personable, stunning and engaging artist, Simone shines on stage while performing her three loves; Rock n Roll, Soul, and the Blues. From the influential musical shifts of the '60s and '70s to the timeless classics of the '80s right up to the 2000s, with her very own rock n roll and soul blends, get ready to go on a magical musical ride. Irene Hilsdon

Irene Hilsdon has for many years developed her skills as a craft tutor having completed more than 30 cruises teaching art and craft all around the world. Irene prides herself on being able to teach art and craft which complete beginners can accomplish and which more skilled guests can embellish to suit their own designs. Using various materials including paper from old magazines, natural Jute, recycled cards and left over material from other projects Irene teaches step by step so all of the art and crafts are suitable for all abilities.

Tony Clarke

Ukulele Tutor

Tony Clarke served for 20 years in the Royal Navy, rising to the rank of Chief Petty Officer before moving into business sales and later pursuing his passion for music education. Holding an Adult Teaching Certificate, he taught music for local authority evening classes and has worked extensively across Plymouth schools since 2006 as a guitar and ukulele teacher. He also coordinated the Plymouth Youth Guitar Ensemble and has significant experience teaching students with disabilities. A talented performer as well as teacher, Tony has played in numerous groups and local events throughout his career. Known for his warm and encouraging style, he inspires learners of all ages to quickly gain confidence with new musical skills. Recently retired from school teaching, Tony now focuses on delivering fun and engaging ukulele sessions for cruise ship passengers and local groups, helping many beginners discover a lifelong passion for music through relaxed and enjoyable learning experiences.

Dawn Smith

Guest Speaker - Sports, Health & Wellbeing

Dawn Smith BEM is an accomplished ocean rower, professional mariner, and inspirational speaker whose extraordinary adventures highlight resilience, leadership, and determination. Awarded the British Empire Medal, she has over 20 years of maritime experience and has completed four ocean crossings, with more expeditions already planned. In 2019, Dawn became only the seventh woman to row solo and unsupported across the Atlantic, covering 3,000 miles from Gran Canaria to Barbados. She also holds a world record as part of the fastest all-female trio to row from California to Hawaii. Before her maritime career, Dawn served for 26 years with Essex Police, becoming a firearms officer, instructor, the force's first female police boat skipper, and a national marine tactical advisor. She now runs Aurora Sea School, training future mariners and ocean rowers. Through engaging presentations, Dawn shares inspiring stories of survival, teamwork, navigation, and overcoming adversity, tailoring her talks for schools, businesses, clubs, and cruise audiences alike.

ORCA is one of the UK’s leading whale and dolphin conservation charities, dedicated to the protection of whales, dolphins and porpoises around the world. Ocean Conservationists will be showcasing the incredible diversity of wildlife that can be spotted from the deck, helping everyone learn more about the marine environment around them whilst collecting vital data about whales, dolphins and porpoises to contribute to their protection. Whilst on board, the team will be delivering activities to help guests learn more about these amazing animals as well as the threats they face, including the Ambassador & ORCA pledge and the first ever cruise "Anti-whaling" campaign.

Couldn't book online as it wasn't working saying every cabin we tried to book that it wasn't available, tried for an hour with no luck. In the end we had to get a friend in the UK to phone and book us in. She got through straight away but all the inside cabins were gone and we ended up buying a sea view cabin, costing us around 400 pound each more. We later found out your webpage wasn't working correctly which is very disappointing
